You can now grab cheap flights to Los Angeles for just £287 return.
I’ve been to Los Angeles three times now, and each time I go it just seems to get better! Maybe it’s the company I’m with, or maybe it’s the fact that I’m finding more hidden gems in terms of bars, restaurants and things to do. Regardless of what it is that makes LA great for me, it’s somewhere I’d always be happy to go back to when I stumble upon a good deal. And I think I’ve found one.
American Airlines is offering direct flights from London to Los Angeles for just £289 return. There is good availability for this fare for travel dates between November 2018 and March 2019 – example dates include 5th Nov – 14th Nov, 9th Nov – 25th Nov, 3rd Dec – 11th Dec and 9th Jan – 23rd Jan.
This is a fantastic price for almost 24 hours’ flying time., on a reputable airline. These are basic economy fares, which means you get the full on-board service in terms of meals and drinks, and can take onboard a full-size cabin suitcase, but it’s worth noting that no hold luggage is included. I’ve found that if you’re travelling for one or two weeks, a well-packed cabin suitcase is enough, but if you’re travelling for longer or want to make a road trip out of it, it might be worth paying a bit extra for a hold bag.
The usual drill applies in order to book the cheapest fare. First, find the cheapest dates that are suitable for you via Google flights. Next, pinpoint the cheapest travel agent selling the ticket using a comparison site such as Momondo or Skyscanner. Remember that when you book through a travel agent (rather than from the airline direct) you still earn frequent flyer miles such as Avios.
I really hope this helps someone. If you found this post useful, please consider sharing it with your friends using the social links below.
